William Trainer CEO, President & Director

Mr. William Trainer is a key founder of Grande West Transportation and has served as President and Director since its inception in 2008.  Mr. Trainer has over 25 years experience importing and exporting heavy machinery, and has successfully pioneered and brought several new products to the Canadian market.  William has also owned and managed heavy construction equipment dealerships throughout Western Canada.

Dan Buckle Chief Financial Officer

Dan Buckle joined Grande West in 2018 and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with more than 20 years of diversified experience and leadership in finance. Dan has mainly worked as a finance executive with high growth public companies in the manufacturing sector with roles in corporate finance, M&A, and financial oversight and reporting. Dan also worked in the assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

John LaGourgue VP, Corporate Development, Director

John LaGourgue joined Grande West in June, 2016 and brings with him over 20 years of management, sales, financial and investment experience in public and private companies. John has served in senior management and directors’ roles for public companies since 2009. Mr. Lagourgue manages the Company’s capital markets strategies and corporate communications.

Jonathan Leskowich Chief Operating Officer

Johnathan Leskowich is a senior engineer with 18 years of experience in the Heavy Duty and Transit Industry, having served in many leadership positions at leading firms within the bus industry. In his current position as COO for Grande West Transportation, he leads development efforts for the Vicinity Lightning mid-size electric transit bus. He chaired the Maintenance & Vehicle Technology section of the CUTA Technical Services Committee for three years and has volunteered to lead numerous other groups and workshops.

Marion McGrath Corporate Secretary

Marion McGrath has been actively engaged in the securities industry for over 30 years specializing in corporate governance and compliance of publicly traded issuers listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and the Canadian Securities Exchange. Prior her current role, Ms. McGrath was a senior paralegal with a Vancouver-based securities law firm.
